So today is a big day, for us all the paperwork for the land has been completed the last part was something called a Mohaffida I really have no idea what it is but my wife assures me that this is the most important piece of the legal jigsaw, I think it could be some sort of surveyor report and a type of government insurance. So thats all the legalities and paperwork finished, now for the planning and designing bit, where to begin

Anyway it’s legally ours to do whatever we want with now, so now I guess I need an architect and some sort of plan. I think I will just start with the basics I will give them the size of the land and tell them this is what it must have. And then see what they come up with.
• Swimming pool at 3 meters by 6
• 4 bedrooms all en-suite
• 2 of the main bedrooms at the front of the house with balcony and sea views
• Large kitchen and kitchen garden (for growing herbs and some vegetables)
• Office
• Large living room opening to patio and pool/ BBQ area.
So there we have not much to ask is it? Now to find a good architect, Oh and another this I think I want to use solar and wind power as much as possible, and it is probably a good idea to have our own water well, although I would imagine this close to the sea the water could well be salty, another thing I have to check on.
