I go to morocco temporarily for some contract work. I might be there for 3-4 yrs.I need to know some information about the schools there for my son
I’ve heard that in the primary school (from grades 1-8?) subjects are taught in arabic and they teach french seperately.
and in secondary school subjects are taught in french. BUt I’ve also heard that social sciences are taught in arabic and scientific subjects are taught in french. Can anybody explain the real structure of the education system?

why bothering with that while you have american schools and universities in Morocco?
if you are ready to pay the fees of if you qualify for a social aid by your gov you might register your son in the american school of rabat or casablanca.
cheers
I went to french, arabic and american schools
in arabic schools, they teach you math, science and social studies in arabic , and a little french, english is taught like…1-3 hours a week? u can do arabic in the morning and french in the afternoon
French schools teach the important subjects in arabic and french, but with more french, and english is taught too, it can be an option …
American schools teach important subjects in english, and french literature, maybe social studies, and arabic literature…maybe social studies too
Hope this helps;)
